Fishkind & Associates, Inc. works throughout Florida with Community Development Districts (CDDs) and other types of special districts. In today's environment of costly, up-front infrastructure needs, concurrency requirements, and increasing competition, CDD financing is a key element in developing successful master planned communities and retail centers. We provide CDD-related services at every stage of a district's life, from establishment to full development.
Once formed, we assist the CDD in obtaining financing for its public infrastructure through the issuance of tax exempt bonds. We have acted as financial advisor to numerous CDDs throughout Florida over the course of more than one hundred transactions involving more than five billion dollars. Selected clients include:
