We regularly update our forecast outlook for the National, State, MSA and County level economic outlook. This information is developed through a series of econometric forecast models and is often provided in speeches made throughout Florida.
Data sources include:
- Census Bureau building permits and housing start ratios
- Florida Department of Labor and Employment Security ES-202 and CES reports
- University of Florida Population Studies
- Residential electric customer meter data
- National economic data and conditions
Each PowerPoint slideshow presentation is available in a PDF file format. You must have the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view PDF files.

Printing and Adobe PDF File Issues
- If you experience any issues or errors while attempting to print out a slideshow presentation please keep in mind that these are reasonably large graphic files, which require an adequate amount of printer memory. Try downloading the file to your local workstation or server and printing out the presentation in smaller page increments to accommodate your specific printer specifications.
- If you experience "Error 122- there was an error processing this page" when viewing certain pages of this PDF file this is an expected but unresolved error in the graphic translation from MS PowerPoint to Adobe PDF format.
- If you receive additional errors while viewing the PDF file or you can not open the file with your current Adobe Acrobat Reader please download and install the latest Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- If you are an AOL customer and receive a "Forbidden Access Error" when you attempt to download the PDF file this is an AOL issue. The workaround is to download the file using something other (Netscape or Internet Explorer browser) than the AOL browser.
